Bangalore, feb 8 : Eight coaches of Rani Chennamma Bangalore-Kolhapur Express derailed this morning between Devargudda and Bydgi near Haveri in Karnataka.
No casualty was reported in the accident which took place at 4.55 aM, railway sources said. All the passengers have been moved to Hubli via bus, the sources said, adding, two general Second-class coaches, one first AC, two second-AC, two three-tier AC coaches and a second-class luggage van have derailed.
Enquiry booths, with helpline numbers 22259271 and 22354108, have been set up at the platform one of the Bangalore city junction.
