Guwahati, Oct 26 (PTI) Three militants and a linkman were today arrested from different parts of Assam, officials said.
Acting on a tip-off, police nabbed two National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) militants and a linkman from Bijni area of Chirang district this morning.
The militants have been identified as Sonam and Akhil Goyari and the linkman as Chanchal Chakraborty.
Police also recovered several extortion notes and other documents from their possession.
In another incident, patrolling army personnel nabbed an ULFA militant from Ouiguri village in Morigaon district.
The militant has been identified as Mansur Ali of the outfit's 27 Battalion, officials added.
