Indian Govt to set up 330 anti-trafficking units to check human trafficking


Government is planning to establish 330 anti-trafficking units in the next three years to tackle the menace of human trafficking.

This was revealed by Home Minister P Chidambaram while addressing a function in New Delhi to mark the World Human Rights Day.

Terming human trafficking as a cold and cruel fact, Mr Chidambaram said there is a need to sensitise people including police and judiciary in dealing with the crime.
