Though
Moily was honest & hardworking but it is undeniable reality that
GOI is hauled up before Supreme Court every day by ‘C’ grade lawyers who
have Rate Contract to file PILs in the Supreme Court.
He
was doing great work by inviting Public Response to new laws to address
emerging challenges on fortnightly basis but he was less interactive
than requirements of the present situation as explained in following
lines. He ought to have initiated debates on subjects like ‘Telecom
Policy’, ‘Strengthening Consumer Courts’ ‘Legal Reforms’ ‘Making PIL
Effective Public Participation’.
Supreme Court of India
has been Corrupted and Compromised to such an extend that Junior
Bhushan would file a bogus PIL in the Supreme Court Registry and comes
out and tells the world through Unintelligent Media that PM, Home
Minister and New Telecom minister had caused a loss of Rs.650 crores by
reducing Penalty in UASL case against Reliance from Rs. 650 crores to
Rs. 5 crores, when as explained later no case is made out against
Reliance.
Ø Rural
Teledensity 31% 12/2010 and Urban Teledensity 148% means there is a
phone in every rural household (Average) and every Urban person has 1.5
phones. Yet Bhushan Scoundrels would broadcast every day ‘Loot Ke Ley
Gaye’.
Unintelligent
media on payrolls of RSS would not even ask for a Copy of PIL or find
out from the Official Records the validity of the grounds of PIL –
newspapers have Law Correspondents to verify it and had time till 11 PM
to do it but Live Media is in race to broadcast it ahead of others.
And
by evening Truck Driver Anna would demand resignation of PM – soon
Hitler Faced Advani and P*g faced Gadkari would join in to say ‘This is
the most Corrupt Government’ all in matter of 4-5 hours.
Ba*king
Kiran Bedi was completely thrilled by this success of her colleague and
broadcast all the money $10 trillion in the Country is Stolen by
Manmohan Singh, Kapil Sibal and P. Chidambaram.
It
was most amusing in World Judicial history that after a week when
Supreme Court read the PIL it found there was no prayer. So abusing
Prime Minister, Home Minister and Law Minister was Pure Fun.
Supreme
Court realizing its stupidity a few days later, wiser on learning from
Kapil Sibal rejoinder that it was not related to 2G and it was Mischief
of Advocate On Rate Contract to club it with 2G case for purely
‘Defamation Value’ and penalty amount was actually Rs. 50 crores,
finally Ordered as I found out from ET that PIL is ‘Kept Alive In
Records And Anyone May Activate It In Future’.
My own investigation revealed –
1. 62.28m Rural Subscribers March2008 >> 259.78m December2010.
2. Wireless subscribers Growth was spectacular from 165m to 840m in three years.
3.
Tata had rolled out just 1.55m Rural Subscribers 3/2008 to 8.95m for
Reliance. It ought to be Tatas who had GSM & CDMA licenses and
spectrum to be penalized than Reliance.
4.
Cost charged per subscriber was down to Rs. 88 per month for Prepaid
subscribers from Rs. 298 when A. Raja decided to release new licenses.
Rs.2,11,680 crores Annual Savings to Subscribers or Rs. 176,000 crores Scam
5. Vinod Rai who was shunted all time from one job to another by Kerala Ministers was permanently appointed as CAG head.
Ø Instead
of reporting Telecom Minister reduced Subscribers Bills by 70% since
his appointment and saved [840mx (298-88) x 12 = 2116,800m] or
Rs.2,11,680 crores in just one year.
Ø Vinod Rai computed Rs.1,76,000 crores Loss to India and Scam.
6. Maran & Raja because of their strong political roots were Dismantling Cartel of Airtel, Reliance, Vodafone, Tata.
7.
Like Promod Mahajan these DMK leaders too secured bribes but the
difference is Mahajan mortgaged his Soul and sold out public interests
to Corporate Sharks, DMK leaders reduced the subscriber bills by 70%.
8.
In a Country where each of 35 million Dogs in India is entitled to a
Dog Bite every year All Legally Done but we are so concerned by few
hundred crores taken by Maran & Raja for their services to India
that people gave up food and water all across India and police had to
evict them from Delhi all for a law to prevent corruption.
9.
It is most funny ‘The Law is Specifically Designed to Put Supreme Court
Judges and Prime Minister in Jail’ and Their Speedy Trial – prevailing
laws are effective against the rest.

Gaffes cost Moily law ministry
New Delhi:
Have occasional public gaffes cost M Veerappa Moily the high-profile Law and Justice Ministry?
The senior Congress leader from Karnataka
was shifted from law ministry to ‘low profile’ corporate affairs in the
cabinet reshuffle on Tuesday, which is being termed as a signal from
the party that he should mend his ways.
As the Law Ministry’s role is crucial, especially in the coming days with the government fighting several cases, including the 2G spectrum scam and the commonwealth games scam in court, it is learnt that Manmohan Singh brought in Salman Khurshid as he is considered to be more serious in approach.
Moily, a former Karnataka chief minister, had a swift rise in the party in 2009 as he had a host of responsibilities — being in charge of party affairs in Andhra Pradesh, and earlier, Assam and Tamil Nadu; a permanent invitee of the Congress working committee; chairman of the media department of the AICC as well as department of policy planning and coordination — all at one time. Moily was also the chairman of the Administrative Reforms Commission.
Now, he has just one post, that too of heading a “low profile” corporate affairs ministry. His “decline” began soon after he failed to defend Rahul Gandhi when the latter praised Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Moily was removed as the party media department chairman.
YSR’s death
The death of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekar Reddy was a setback to Moily. Seen as being close to Reddy’s son Jaganmohan Reddy, Moily faced severe criticism for his failure to control the former (Jagan) when he fell out with Congress president Sonia Gandhi.
Subsequently, Moily was divested of his responsibility of looking after party affairs in Andhra Pradesh.
The repeated blunders he committed by giving frequent statements and subsequent denials on several issues also is said to be one of the reasons for his “demotion”.

Despite being Law minister, he was virtually kept out in major decision-making exercises recently, including negotiating with yoga guru Baba Ramdev on the black money issue.
‘Victim of campaign by vested interest’
Seemingly upset with the change of portfolio from Law Minister to Corporate Affairs Minister, Congress leader Veerappa Moily said he has been a victim of campaign by “vested interests” who did not like the reforms introduced by him in the law ministry, DHNS reports from New Delhi .
“That campaign is by vested interests. I introduced several reforms. Reform does not please everybody,” Moily said.
Moily, however, asserted that he does not feel being slighted. The minister added he is “proud of the reforms” that he has introduced in the law ministry and will continue to do so in his new ministry
