Bharti Airtel has just announced its partnership with Formula One Group to bring the Grand Prix 2011 to India. The event will be called the Airtel Grand Prix of India and the country’s first ever F1 race will take place on October 30. Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One Group CEO, commented “Airtel has demonstrated that they’re a forward thinking company and that was the reason for seeking their help in promoting Formula One in India through their 200 million plus customers.”
