After Ratan Tata narrated how he had refused to pay bribe when he wanted to start an airline, it was Kiran Bedi's turn to reveal a similar case.
At IIM Ahmedabad campus on Sunday, she recounted how a government official demanded bribe in return for a desirable post in Delhi police.
Attending the B-school's annual event Confluence 2010, Bedi said the official holding an important position at the time asked for Rs 6 lakh if she wanted to join a plum posting in Delhi Police as she was leaving Mizoram after a stint as DIG (range) in 1992.
