Coldest day of the season with fog in Delhi


Delhiites on Tuesday woke up to the coldest day of the season so far with shallow fog shrinking visibility, however as the day progressed, the fog cover lifted and skies opened up.
The mercury dipped to a minimum of 7.7 degree Celsius as against 7.9 deg C on Monday, the MeT office said.
At 2:30 pm, the temperature was recorded at 22.8 deg C.
On Monday, the maximum was at 23.9 degree C.
Fog descended early morning but it did not affect the flight schedule at the international airport in New Delhi.
Weather officials have forecast a foggy morning for Wednesday with the maximum temperature expected to be around 23 deg C and minimum 8 deg C.
