Infy employee gets reinstated, 3 years salary

Jaipur: It's vindication and relief for a former Infosys software engineer who was sacked after the police mistakenly detained him in the Jaipur blasts case without any charges.
A Special Court has now directed Infosys to not just reinstate him but also pay his salary for the last three years.
Three years after Infosys sacked him following his questioning in the 2008 Jaipur blasts, former Infosys software engineer Rashid Hussain stands vindicated today. A special court has now directed the company to not just reinstate him but also pay his salary for the last three years.
Rashid was among those Muslims who were rounded up for questioning after the Jaipur blasts. They were later let off without any charges being framed against them. Rashid was in detention for nine days and released on the condition that he sign a document saying he was freed on the same day he was picked up.
Soon after his detention, Infosys sacked him citing a discrepancy in the work experience as claimed in his CV. Rashid then moved court against his sacking.
After he got the court order this April, Rashid's been trying to get a response from Infosys but so far he hasn't succeeded.
CNN IBN tried to get in touch with HR department of Infosys at the company's Jaipur as well as Bangalore offices to get clarity on the company's stand on Rashid's case after the court's order but like Rashid we've also been told that the company is yet to take a call on the issue. In Jaipur.
